Today we have another good example of how blog, in the right hands, is a powerful knowledge tool. Indeed, "powerful knowledge tool" is too techological a term, too clunky a way of expressing a medium that seems as natural and human as handwriting.

Tom is a good friend and one of the nicest people I know. His posts are often humbling to those of us in less essential professions.
I can thoroughly recommend his recently published book Blood, Sweat and Tea.
Tom's more than a celebrity, he is restoring the dignity of 'public service'.
