The Word, Jeff.

Thank you to Jeff for the extra effort he went to in order to get online last week. Jeff has an exciting job in SAP, and is one of the authors of this book. It has sold a lot!

Great to talk to you Jeff, thank you.

Thank you also to the main event last week, Karl Wills of Abacus Billing. It was great to hear about strategy and operations at the cutting edge of modern, hi-tech business.

Thank you Karl, talk to you again soon.

Two great presentations. Many thanks for the outstanding effort that both presenters went to in order to share their knowledge.

I thought Abacus was a classic example of a company that was in the chasm, whereas SAP AG was a company that had successfully crossed the chasm.

I thought Karl made detailed reference to the reduction in transaction costs that he was able to offer. Whereas Jeff did not touch on it, at all. It would have been interesting to hear his take on it for comparison.

Guys, you are all very welcome.

I have sent a copy of the presentation to Peter.

If you have any questions for me please just let me know. I will try to keep up-to-date with the blog.

There are a number of interviews of SAP senior staff on the web. For example, here is Shai Agassi:

You will find much more at the SAP and Sapphire sites.

I've asked Louise to share a pack of slides from Jeff when he presented at MBS last year.
